Privacy Policy

Matchr collects information needed to run the service: account and profile details, content you choose to share, messages and interactions, device and security signals, payment and transaction records, and support or safety reports.

Some information can be sensitive, including private messages, calls, view-once media, precise location where enabled, identity information, and information about dating preferences. We treat these categories with additional care.

We use information to provide Matchr, personalize in-product experiences, process purchases, prevent abuse and fraud, operate safety tools, respond to support requests, and meet legal obligations.

We do not sell or license member data, private messages, calls, private media, or sensitive profile information to external AI companies for training. We do not use private communications to train public or third-party AI models.

We may use carefully selected service providers for hosting, storage, payments, communications, security, and support. They may process data only to provide services to Matchr and under contractual safeguards.

Matchr does not operate a data-broker program. Any future advertising or AI feature that uses personal data beyond providing the service will require a separate, clear notice and the appropriate consent or choice controls before release.

You can manage visibility, discovery, messaging, read receipts, and notification preferences in Settings. Signed-in members can request a copy of their data or request account deletion in Settings > Data & AI.

Deletion and export requests are reviewed to protect accounts, prevent fraud, and meet legal retention obligations. Some records may need to be retained for security, payment, dispute, or legal reasons.

We retain information only for as long as needed for the purposes described here, unless a longer period is required by law or needed to resolve disputes, enforce agreements, or protect Matchr and its members.

No system can promise absolute security. Matchr uses access controls, encryption in transit, service-provider safeguards, moderation tools, and view-once controls where available to reduce risk.
